Last November 22, 2013 we organized our first One Internet Day for Typhoon Haiyan affected families inviting international speakers to share their expertise and raise donation pledges. We were able to raise worth US$5350.90 pledges on that day.

We encouraged our friends in the international community to share their expertise on this day and donate for a good cause.

Last December 20, 2013 we had another One Internet Day event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the DigitalFilipino Club and help encourage support to families in the Philippines affected by various calamities. We encouraged our club members to share their expertise on this day and folks joining this free learning day to donate for a good cause. We were able to raise worth Php75,884 pledges on that day.

One Internet Day is a free event that started in the year 2000 to lobby for the passage of the E-Commerce Law. Various organizations have organized their own free One Internet Day events through the years. Taking advantage of advances in technology, One Internet Day was organized as a pure online event in 3 separate events.
